*grin* yes, as said, when I first heard this song I just KNEW I'd make a video out of it and I KNEW it would just HAVE to be this pairing --- because I felt the lyrics really hit home. At least in my twisted mind, they did, but it would seem my mind's not the only twisted one around here, heh.

It's why I love this pairing so much- they're both broken, and some of the lines could be *either of them* i.e. Try to find out what makes you tick/ As I lie down/ Sore and sick. and Die for anyone, what have I become?. That bit hits home particularly hard with this ship because you have to compare Sarah now with Derek to Sarah then with Kyle, and how *much* she's changed and why.

YES, EXACTLY, DAMNIT! They're so fucked up, both of them, that you can't help but ship them. Together they'd create even bigger mess of emotions and my gods, that'd be pretty (and hot, steamy, smuttish, violent, angry and frustrated and and and---). And yes, they're so alike;

I honestly do think they're both sort of observing each other, all the time, trying to understand the other better and trying to dig out her/his secrets and moreover, weaknesses (to use against the other). They're constantly at war with each other, emotionally (at least inside my head, they are) -- which creates the friction I love so much. (angry-sex stamped on their foreheads, indeed!)

Yeah, it's obvious I ship Sarah with Kyle --- in the movie. Because in the movie she's young and innocent and (pretty) and well, Kyle seems to be that too (and very pretty!). But here, after all those years, she's changed -- and well, I can't imagine her being with Kyle anymore (for one, he's dead). In fact, I do think she's more derek-alike now than she'd probably like to admit. It's not just Derek that has become a monster, but her too - so she may have not killed anyone, in purpose, but it doesn't erase the things she *would* do to protect John. She would kill, I'm sure of that.

So, yeah. I don't mind the indepth. I love discussing too, haha!
